Aberystwyth has long been associated with holidays and holiday makers, some of whom venture inland on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. However, for others who venture on foot there is a plethora of beautiful walks. Pumlumon too, is easily reached and makes a fine walk with the remote valleys to the north of it being the scene of many a battle in the days of Owain Glyndwr.
