There are many beautiful, often quite remote, lakes in Wales. Some are found high in the mountains making for a grand outing in wild surroundings. Others are found somewhat lower making for more leisurely walks in pastoral scenery. There are also stretches of water that were once reservoirs, or perhaps still are, which present just as beautiful a spectre as the natural ones. This book does not purport to be definitive it is just some of what is available and as such it is only a personal selection.
